APregnancy brings along a range of symptoms that can differ from one person to another. There are many common and normal symptoms, but some could be more serious and a sign that you require medical attention.

Before week 37

Please speak to a health provider if you experience any of these symptoms before you reach the 37th week of pregnancy:

· pain, pressure, or cramping in your belly

· contractions happening more than 4 times in an hour, or they’re less than 15 minutes apart

· fluid leaking from your vagina

Throughout your pregnancy

Please speak to a health provider if you experience any of these symptoms at any point during your pregnancy:

· vaginal bleeding

· intense nausea and vomiting

· body temperature above 38°C (100.4°F)

· a really bad headache that won’t go away, or a headache that lasts for several days

· new vision problems

· your baby is moving and kicking less

· you suddenly gain a lot of weight (3 to 5 pounds) within 5 to 7 days, along with swelling in your feet, ankles, face, or hands

· you have seizures

· blood in your urine or pain while urinating

· persistent diarrhoea

· vaginal discharge with a bad smell, irritation, or itching
